“Please ME, not man”
(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in ‘please ME, not man’ this daily leavened [Jesus ‘Man’ages!] bread.)
You are to please God and not to please man.
But you want them to like you “validate.”
God validates you as only God can.
Please God, not man, for your “e’man’cipate.”
I am to please God and not to please man.
But I want them to like me “justify.”
God justifies me as only God can.
Please God, not man, for my “man” is “goodbye.”
“‘Man’euver! Please ME and not to please man,”
says Jesus. “My Direction is to ‘man’age ME.
‘Man’euver ME as you ‘man’age My Plan.
My Plan is not to please man but please ME.”
Wanna stay always young as Peter Pan?
“Come to ME, little child. Please ME, not man.”
