Two BEtter than none

two lemurs on tree
Father God, thank You that Two, You and Your Son and our Savior and Deliverer, Jesus Christ, BEtter than none. That God Sonnet was inspired by that Bible Verse: “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion” (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). That it’s God and Jesus, Two BEtter than none. That it’s us alone, none of HE. BEtter we seek HE, that better long run. BEtter we of His Peace, that better BE. That world would have us debtor and go-getter (BOTH). You and Jesus would have us that lifted and picked (BOTH) up when we are that ton and spun (BOTH). On a more personal note, Two BEtter for me than none. That i find myself without anyone….God and Jesus, that Two BEtter than none. The two precious raccoons in that picture are Two BEtter than none. But even though they look identical, each one of them is that preciously unique to God and Jesus. As we humans are treated that preciously unique by God and Jesus, God and Jesus treat nonhuman animals like these two precious raccoons that same, yet never that same. Each human and nonhuman animal (BOTH) is treated that preciously unique by God and Jesus, that Two BEtter than none. i pray all of that in the Wonderful and Precious and BEtter Name of Jesus Christ, that Name above every other name, including my own name. That prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are that it’s me alone. Amen.

(God’s Sonnet by timothy j. verret; “it’s how i cope to hope [BOTH] in that Two [God and Jesus] BEtter than none, that it’s me alone, that it’s this daily leavened bread.”)

That it’s God and you, two better than none.

That it’s you alone, none is the better.

That when you fall, God lifts you up a ton.

you’re a ton for that world wants you debtor.

That it’s God and me, two better than none.

That it’s me alone, none is the better.

That when i stumble, God picks me up spun.

i’m spun for that world wants me go-getter.

“That it’s ME and them, Two BEtter than none,”

says Jesus. “Them alone, that’s none of HE.

BEtter they seek ME, better that long run.

BEtter they of My Peace, that better BE.”

we that find ourselves without anyone….

  1. It’s a balance between how much we rely on ourselves. Sometimes, one (you alone) is all that is needed, sometime two is better than one, better still when your in partnership with God. I prefer to try alone, but that means I often lose the opportunity of “two is better than one”
