Father God, thank You than when burdened brothers BOTH, Your Son and our Savior and Deliverer, Jesus Christ, FREES us BOTH. This God Sonnet was inspired by the Bible Verse: . “He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him” (1 John 2:9-10.). Along the way of writing, this God Sonnet was inspired by the Bible Verse: “Then the LORD said to Cain, ‘Where is your brother Abel?’ ‘I don’t know,’ he replied. ‘Am I my brother’s keeper?’” (Genesis 4:9) When a burdened brother, we are our brother’s keeper. The world will want us to be loath in this, but Jesus FREES us BOTH when we release our burdened brother to You, Father God, to carry and abide BOTH. When the light is dim and love is slim, Jesus FREES us from stumbling. Until now, it was darkness most at growth and hate taken in oath (BOTH). It was BOTH falling from grumbling. But, NOW, we are in His Light and He abides when burdened brothers BOTH. On a more personal note, another not-too-easy God Sonnet to write, as i have an estranged relationship with my biological brother. It is indeed a burden. But i can release him to God to carry and abide BOTH. As best i can tell, i have done my best to “clean my side of the street” with my biological brother. If not my best, i release to You, Father God, Your outcome when burdened biological brothers BOTH. i pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious and BOTH Name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every other name, including my own name. This prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are BOTH my brother’s keeper loath. Amen.
(God’s Sonnet by timothy j. verret; “it’s how i cope to hope [BOTH] in Jesus FREES me when releasing to God burdened brothers BOTH this daily leavened bread.”)
When a burdened brother, you release him.
You release him to God to carry BOTH.
God carries you and him when light is dim.
Until now, it was darkness most at growth.
When a burdened brother, i release him.
i release him to God to abide BOTH.
God abides me and him when love is slim.
Until now, it was hate taken in oath.
“For BOTH, when burdened brothers, I AM FREE,”
says Jesus. “I FREE them BOTH from stumbling.
In My Light, I abide in BOTH with ME.
Until now, BOTH were falling from grumbling.”
the world will keep our brother’s keeper loath.
Jesus FREES us when burdened brothers BOTH.
