“Father God, thank You that enough of my faith, only by His Works. ‘You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only’ (James 2:24). Enough of me justified by my works, only by Whose? The Works of Your Son and my Savior and Deliverer, Jesus Christ. Jesus is my Scorecard! I want an ‘A’ when ‘Amen’ for His Works. I don’t want a ‘F’ when ‘Faith’ for my timecard. There’s a lot of room to breathe between ‘A’ and ‘F.’ There is ‘B’ when I just ‘B’ ME. There is ‘C’ when I ‘C’ Whose works for which I am hire and chore (BOTH….that’s another ‘B’😉). There is ‘D’ when I am ‘D’ivinely led to do His Works and never retire or ignore (BOTH….that’s another ‘B’😉). This ‘a lot of room to breathe’ on His Scorecard is ME being imperfect, as only I can ‘B.’ My ego wants to lead me to ‘all or nothing,’ i.e., I either get an ‘A’ or a ‘F.’ There is no ‘a lot of room to breathe’ between ‘A’ and ‘F’ when my ego is punching its own timecard. That is why and Whose (BOTH) enough of my faith, only by His Works. On an even more personal note, I see you, my cat friend in the picture, working hard at finding the perfect match for a ‘cat’ch online. But remember: Enough of your faith in finding the perfect match for a ‘cat’ch online, only by His Works. I’ll be praying for you, though. I’ll be praying for me, too, to find the perfect match for my ‘cat’ch either online or offline (BOTH). I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious and Works Name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every other name, including my own name. This prayer is answered by my faith (not my works) and my belief (only His Works). Please help me, Father God, where my faith (only His works) and my belief (not my works) are lacking. Amen.”
(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope [BOTH] in enough of my faith, only by His Works, this daily leavened [Jesus Scores!] bread.”)
Enough of your faith, only by whose works?
What is your faith must be your full-time hire.
Enough of God, only hires for His Works.
What is His Works never be your retire.
Enough of my faith, only by whose works?
What is my faith must be my every chore.
Enough of God, only chores for His Works.
What is His Works never be my ignore.
“Enough of faith, only by Whose? My Works,”
says Jesus. “Only I Work your Scorecard.
You get an ‘A’ when ‘Amen’ for My Works.
You get a ‘F’ when ‘Faith’ for your timecard.”
What is our faith must never be our works.
Enough of our faith, only by His Works.
