Father God, thank You that for BOTH sick/tired, tired/sick, You Bear them BOTH with BOTH Your Son and our Savior and Deliverer, Jesus Christ. When I look to man to fix/repair, repair/fix them BOTH, I really am made sick/tired, tired/sick. When I look to Jesus to fix/repair, repair/fix them BOTH, I really am I AM Ease of Jesus” I affix. “Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God” (Psalm 146:3-5). How quick (temporary) it really feels when I have pleased man; how eternal (permanent) it really is when I put my hope only in the Lord my God. My hope is in Him so politic (of an action seeming sensible and judicious under the circumstances) but not in so “world politic.” It is not the world I serve but only God who has my soul wired. I cannot bear (behave in a certain manner; give birth [to a newborn]; support or hold in a certain manner; put up with something or somebody unpleasant) them, the world and my soul BOTH, nor would I want to bear them BOTH. The world will stunt my God Growth, but Jesus will Ease my soul. On a more personal note, my doggie friend in the picture reminds me of my doggie friend, Blue, who takes his holistic medicine for his heartworms in a similar dropper. What a blessing that Jesus will heal my sick/tired, tired/sick Blue from the heartworms that are trying to dis-Ease him. BOTH God and Jesus bear Blue BOTH! I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious and Fix/Affix Name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every other name, including my own name. This prayer I bear is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me bear BOTH, Father God, where my faith and my belief are often hard to bear. Amen.

(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope [BOTH] in God and Jesus BOTH to bear sick/tired, tired/sick, BOTH, this daily leavened bread.”)

You are sick and tired of feeling so sick.

You are tired and sick of feeling so tired.

When you are BOTH, God is so heal so quick.

God is so BOTH your every so required.

I am sick and tired of feeling so sick.

I am tired and sick of feeling so tired.

When I am BOTH, God is so politic.

God’s not “world politic.” My soul God’s wired.

“I Bear the sick and tired, BOTH I AM Fix,”

says Jesus. “Look not to man for repair.

Man might please now; I AM Ease you affix.

For the every tired and sick, BOTH I Bear.”

BOTH sick/tired, tired/sick, BOTH stunt our God Growth.

Thank God for Jesus, BOTH, who Bear them BOTH.

  1. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. It’s not mine to fix, and can give it to God. But I try to fix it anyway….it’s my nature, it’s my shortsightedness!!

  2. I think it is BOTH your nature and your shortsightedness, Dag, as it is BOTH for me. BOTH can’t be fixed by us or man but only by Jesus. Can’t please man, no matter how hard we try. Even if we could please every man for all time, we would still be left feeling sick/tired, tired/sick, BOTH. And none of this BOTH is easy by any stretch of the imagination, but there is “The Ease of Jesus” that makes it a whole lot (and BOTH) easier. 🙏
