Father God, thank You that you knew and loved us (BOTH) before we even knew. How do we “knew” this? “In this is Love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. BeLoved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another” (1 John 4:10-11). You sent us Your Son and our Savior and Deliver, Jesus Christ, and You are still sending us Jesus. It’s not a case of déjà vu. It’s Christ’s Case that He loved us before we even knew and still loves us before we even knew (BOTH). It was True and still True (BOTH). We are New and Versed (BOTH). We are grew. On a more personal note, I felt “forced” to put “4st” in this sonnet, because I am an Enneagram 4. I’m so grateful that You, Father God, love me as same. Enneagram 4’s like myself can be so troubled, so hard-to-handle, so creative, so unique, so on shaky ground, so difficult to maneuver, so “in and out” with so many intense emotions. That You would still love an Enneagram 4 like myself is all the proof I need that I am loved and I’m still loved (BOTH) by You as a 4. And on an even more personal note, I used that picture today because my cat, Conrad, or as I affectionately call him, “Connie,” “Con,” but mostly “little man,” is at the vet getting his comprehensive checkup. That I love and still love (BOTH) my “little man” is True. That I’m going to pick up my “little man” from the vet today is also True. That my “little man” will not talk to me all day today because I took him to the vet is most definitely True. 😾 I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious and True Name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every other name, including my own name. This prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are lacking. Amen.”
(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope that I was loved and still loved [BOTH] by Jesus, before I even knew, this daily leavened bread.”)
Before you even knew, God knew who you.
Before you even loved, God loved you first.
That you know Him now that He knew you New.
That you love Him now that He loves you Versed.
Before I even knew, God knew me true.
Before I even loved, God loved me “1st.”
That I know Him now that He knows me Grew.
That I love Him now that He loves me “4st.”
“Before you even knew ME, I knew you,”
says Jesus. “I loved you and I still do.
That My Father sent ME to you was True.
That My Father sends ME to you still True.”
Don’t fret! It’s not a case of déjà vu.
It’s that He loved before we even knew.
