CLING TO CHRIST

“Father God, thank You that we cling to Your Son and our Savior and Deliverer, Jesus Christ. All else cling is vanity. Humility is when we cling only to Christ. We will stand the test and run the course (BOTH) when we cling to Christ. We will not come undone or be deserted (BOTH) when we cling to Christ. If we have selfless-interest knowing we are always endorsed by You, we are clinging to Christ. Let us cling to Your Favorite Son and Your Master’s Degree (BOTH). On a more personal note, I am of late being brought to humility and turning away from vanity. It happened when I was working up the Bible study lesson today for Job 34, and Father God kept telling me, “Go to the Book of Ecclesiastes.” I completely turned away from my lesson plan and obeyed God’s Direction, and there it was in black and white all over the Book of Ecclesiastes: VANITY. I will stand the test and run the course (BOTH) by welcoming in humility and turning away from vanity. On an even more personal note, I cling to God’s nonhuman animals, as our clinging seal friends are doing in the picture, and cling to Christ to stand the test and run the course (BOTH) Christ has me on regarding this. I know humility when I speak up for God’s nonhuman animals. I know vanity when I speak up for me and not for Christ. I’m not necessarily saying vanity is antiChrist, but is it possible that it is? I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious and Clinging Name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every other name, including my name. This prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are lacking. Amen.”

(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope [BOTH] in clinging only to Christ for humility and not vanity this daily leavened bread.”)

You cling to nothing that will stand the test.

You cling to all things that will come undone.

Cling to Christ. Cling to His selfless-interest.

Cling to God. Cling to His Favorite Son.

I cling to nothing that will run the course.

I cling to all things that will desert me.

Cling to Christ. Cling to His always endorse.

Cling to God. Cling to His Master’s Degree.

“I cling to My Father, you cling to ME,”

says Jesus. “All else cling is vanity.

I stand the test, you run the course for ME.

I don’t come undone or desert clingy.”

Can we say vanity is antiChrist?

Humility is when we cling to Christ.
