“Father God, thank You that there is Something about His Cross today. Whether castaway or doomsday (or BOTH), today, each day, and every day, Your Son and our Savior and Deliverer, Jesus Christ, Bleeds for us, Needs from us a reply. What will be that reply today, each day, and every day from us? I think the answer to this reply is the one word in that sentence: Will. ‘Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s Will is—His Good, Pleasing and Perfect Will’ (Romans 12:2). Something about His Cross today is the Bleed and the Need (BOTH) for us to not conform to the pattern of this world that wreaks of sheer disobey but be transformed by renewing our mind with Gods’ Word, The Bible, Then, we can test and approve (BOTH) what is God’s Good, Pleasing, and Perfect Will. ‘Castaway’ is not only a ‘shipwrecked word’ but also means ‘a person who is rejected (from society or home). We can surely expect as disciples of Jesus Christ to be rejected by society or home (or BOTH) when Something about His Cross today, each day, and every day. On a more personal note, I do not do well at all with rejection today, each day, and every day. It usually floors me when it comes from a person. But I need remember that I am never rejected by His Cross today, each day, and every day. It’s only the world that wreaks of sheer (so thin as to transmit light) disobey, but His Cross penetrates this wreaking of sheer disobey to transmit His Light on my life when I am rejected. See the picture with this God Sonnet and Look Up! That’s His Cross Bleeding and Needing (BOTH) a reply from all of us, and ‘all of us’ does include BOTH humans and nonhuman animals. I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious and Bleed and Need Name of Jesus Christ, The Name above each and every name, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are lacking. Amen.”
(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope [BOTH] in Needing the Bleeding, something about His Cross, today, each day, and every day.”)
You need something about The Cross today.
You need all things about The Cross each day.
When The Cross is not your need every day,
your days down here are spent as castaway.
I need something about The Cross today.
I need all things about The Cross each day.
When The Cross is not my need every day,
my days down here won’t save me on doomsday.
“You need Something about My Cross today,”
says Jesus. “You need to know I AM High.
down there, Look Up to see My Every Day
I Bleed for you, Need from you a reply?”
All things down here wreak of sheer disobey.
Look Up! Something about His Cross today.
