“Father God, thank You that BOTH Be at One, BOTH You and Your Son and our Savior and Deliverer, Jesus Christ. In all our days and nights we make and take, it’s all done with You and Your Son BOTH Be at One. Help us in our days of Daybreak and our nights to Awake (BOTH) to Be One of Devotee and One of EveryOne (BOTH).‘_______ ‘The Father and I are One’ (John 10:30). Not BOTH….Be at One. And even though the picture says, “Be at One until 3 AM,’ we know that Be at One with ‘The Father I are One’ is open 24/7, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, forever until the very End of the Age. On a more personal note and speaking of ‘One,’ I am ‘BOTH’ in almost every one thing I do. A friend of mine called this what they call in psychotherapy terminology, DBT (Dialectic Behavioral Therapy). I responded to my friend, ‘For me, maybe DBT stands for Doing BOTH Things.’ Not sure my friend chuckled, but I did. Yes, BOTH is something I am quite devoted to, maybe not for everyone, and every time I read the Bible, I notice so often verses of ‘________ and ________.’ After I read these exact verses, at the end of _ and _______,’ I say, ‘BOTH.’ For example, ‘ ‘You are my refuge and my fortress’ (Psalm 91:2). After I read this verse, I say, ‘BOTH.’ Sometimes I read it as, ‘You are BOTH my refuge and my fortress.’ Next time you sit at your Bible to read, notice the ‘BOTH’ and see if it ‘reads’ for you. It might not ‘read’ for everyone, but it does ‘read for me. And on an even more personal note, PLEASE Be at One for BOTH God’s humans AND nonhuman animals in the wake and aftermath of Hurricane Ida. Be at One with the make and take (BOTH) of everything done to help BOTH God’s humans AND nonhuman animals. If you can’t be a first responder, you can be a first responder with prayer, with signing petitions, with asking first responders to have a plan in place that safely evacuates BOTH humans AND nonhuman animals in storms and earthquakes and mudslides (‘o my!’). ‘O my,’ as in, ‘O my, BOTH God and Jesus, Be at One with us as we help the least of these in these.’ Find out more about about this by Google searching, ‘disaster relief plan for animals,’ and read up and pay it forward by contacting your legislators and FEMA, asking them to promote and speak to (BOTH) disaster relief plans for God’s nonhuman animals. Prayers, prayers, PRAYERS, for the least of these in the wake and aftermath of Hurricane Ida. I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious and Be at One Name of Jesus Christ, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are lacking. Amen.”
(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope [BOTH] in Be at One with
this daily leavened bread.”) ‘The Father and I are One’ [Psalm 91:2]
You’re making BOTH to be more than you make.
You’re taking BOTH to be more than you take.
Be at One with days you BOTH make and take,
for One Named God and Jesus Daybreak.
I’m making BOTH to be more than I make.
I’m taking BOTH to be more than I take.
Be at One with nights I BOTH make and take,
for One Named God and Jesus Awake.
“BOTH make and take….only One Who’s ME,”
says Jesus. “Father and I Be at One.
Make BOTH you take Be One of Devotee.
Take BOTH you make Be One of EveryOne.”
When all is made and took and all is done,
God and Jesus all done….BOTH Be at One.
