“Father God, thank You that when down, Look Up. We Look Up to Your Son and our Savior and Deliverer, Jesus Christ. We Look Up and our eyes meet Jesus’ Eyes, and we are One. ‘If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the Body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of It’ (1 Corinthians 12:26-27). Can we even understand with our limited understanding what Jesus endured on His Cross for ‘each one of you?’ Can we even understand how traumatically He was used and stung (BOTH)? Can we even understand that He was bruised, betrayed, beat, hung, hurt, hated for us? Can we even make a fuss or ‘down discuss’ The Sacrifice of Jesus Christ for us? We can when down, Look Up. When it comes Jesus, no runner-up. Only Jesus first and forever (BOTH) for ‘each one of you.’ On a more personal note, it is not only humans when down, Look Up. Nonhuman animals, as the picture informs us, can also when down, Look Up. ‘Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!’ (Psalm 150:6). Let BOTH humans AND nonhuman animals that have breath praise the LORD! Let BOTH humans AND nonhuman animals when down, Look Up. We choose to exclude no BOTH from BOTH praising the LORD AND when down, Look Up. I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious and ‘Knew’ Name above every other name, Jesus Christ, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief (BOTH). Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief (BOTH) are lacking. Amen.”
(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope [BOTH] in when down, Look Up to Jesus, this daily leavened bread.”)
When down, you can Look Up and find Jesus.
When down, you can Look Up and find One bruised,
betrayed, beat for you. Can you make a fuss?
Can you be down when One Looked Up was used?
When down, I can Look Up and find Jesus.
When down, I can Look Up and find One hung,
hurt, hated for me. Can I “down discuss?”
Can I be down when One Looked Up was stung?
“Look Up when down to find ME looked at you,”
says Jesus. “Our eyes meet, and we are One.
Not a thing for you down that I don’t ‘knew.’
I knew you then, now down. Look Up. The Son.”
When it comes to Jesus, no runner-up.
When it comes to us down, when down, Look Up.
