“BE STILL,” GOD’S WILL, BIG TIME

“Father God, thank You that we can ‘Be Still,’ God’s Will, Big Time. Your Word points us toward this ‘still” place each and every time: ‘Be still and know that I AM GOD’ (Psalm 46:10). When we worry and hurry (BOTH), are we REALLY trusting You, Father God? Are we REALLY trusting that Your Son and our Savior and Deliverer (BOTH), Jesus Christ, is our ‘Still?’ When we Way and Pray (BOTH), we ARE ‘Be Still,’ God’s Will, Big Time. We all know how crazy it is out there right now, right? Are we not ALL feeling all of this in our every groan and our every bone (BOTH)? On a more personal note, I am MOST DEFINITELY feeling this! After testing positive for COVID, being quarantined, AND then finding out my beloved dog, Blue, tested positive for heartworms, am I NOT physically AND mentally (BOTH) beside myself with groan and grief (BOTH)? You better believe I am! But ‘I AM HE’ for you, Timothy, when you are ‘Be Still,’ God’s Will, Big Time, says Jesus. Will you join me and HE (BOTH) to ‘Be Still,’ God’s Will, Big Time? And on an even more personal note and as the picture informs us, do we REALLY want a “Big Time Encounter’ with an innocent, caged-up, locked-up nonhuman animal in a zoo like the Philadelphia Zoo? What kind of ‘Big Time Encounter’ does this get across to us? That if you are innocent, you ‘Still’ must be caged up and locked up? Children go to zoos all the time, and this IS the message they are receiving. It IS perfectly okay to cage up and lock up an innocent nonhuman animal. It IS perfectly okay to see God’s nonhuman animals in this way, caged up and locked up with no chance for FLEE. What kind of compassionate call for Christ IS this? Please find out about this very thing by watching the Youtube video presentation I did: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8Q0UA_cR-8&t=259s. Don’t hurry or worry TODAY. Don’t FLEE from Jesus TODAY. DO ‘Be Still,’ God’s Will, Big Time, for Jesus TODAY. I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious and ‘Be Still’ Name of Jesus Christ, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief (BOTH). Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief (BOTH) are lacking. Amen.”

(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in ‘Be Still,’ God’s Will, Big Time, this daily leavened [Jesus Big Time!] bread.”)

You will try to “be still” big time today.

You will not hurry or worry, just “still.”

Will you “Be Still” Big Time as God Wills Way?

Will you “be shrill” big time as “scream” until?

I will try to “be still” big time today.

I will not hurry or worry, just “still.”

Will I “Be Still” Big Time as God Wills Pray?

Will I “be fill” big time as “stuff” until?

“‘Be Still,’ God’s Will, Big Time, as I AM HE,”

says Jesus. “No hurry or worry, ‘Still.’

If you trust ME, how can you ever FLEE?

If you don’t trust ME, how you’ll ever WILL?”

People know me as one “internal rhyme.”

Do they know me “Be Still,” God’s Will, Big Time?

  1. This sonnet was timely. I do so need to sit/be still. I have the urge to flee, move, react. Get me out of here, I want to Flee. Despite the urge, I will sit with my urge.

    1. You’re right, Dag. It is NOT!!!! Just like forgiving others and ourselves is NOT easy, so is “be still” NOT easy. I think the things that are the hardest for us are the things that bring us the most rewards. Maybe not here will we receive these rewards but they are certainly rewarded in God’s Eyes in Heaven!
