“Father God, thank You that we don’t take ‘us’ out of JES’us.’ If we take ‘us’ out of JES’us,’ FORwho can we FORgive? And correct me if I’m wrong, Father God, but it seems this world we ALL (BOTH humans AND nonhuman animals) inhabit needs a WHOLE LOT of FORgive for FORwho! This world also needs a WHOLE LOT of ‘leveling out,’ i.e., NO human above or below another human and NO human above or below another nonhuman animal. It is precisely this ‘unequal,’ i.e., on different playing fields, that is precisely why things look as dismal as they look. If ‘us’ in JES’us’ are NOT ‘equal,’ we are ‘apart’ and, thus, OF the world and, thus, not OF JES’us’ ( ‘they are not OF the world even as I AM not OF it’ – John 17:16). But we have FAITH when we don’t take ‘us’ out of JES’us.’ When we keep ‘us’ in JES’us’ for BOTH humans AND nonhuman animals, His ‘Pain’ becomes our ‘Pray’ and His ‘Hurt’ becomes our ‘Hope.’ On a more personal note, please FORgive me for using so many quotation marks in this God Sonnet. I imagine it made the God Sonnet even more difficult to read than it already can be, as others have told me. Feel free to read the God Sonnet without all those quotation marks and just focus on the words. I think God speaks the sentiment of the Sonnet well enough with only the words. All those quotation marks is probably just me trying to be clever and unique which, if I’m being honest, is not really necessary ’cause we ALL are clever and unique, aren’t we? ‘ Did you just hear yourself, Timothy? You ARE clever and unique, so you don’t have to try so hard at it!’ Father God, let ‘us” in JES’us’ be clever and unique enough to know we’ve all had enough of such fuss ‘and now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is LOVE’ (1 Corinthians 13:13). That Verse RIGHT THERE is ENOUGH for ‘us’ in JES’us.’ I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious and Give-Back Name of Jesus Christ, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are lacking. Amen.”
(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in being Part of the ‘us’ in JES’us’ this daily leavened [JES’us’ is ‘US!’] bread.”)
You are “us.” You can’t take you out of “Him.”
You are “us.” You can’t take you out of “hurt.”
You are hurting ’cause He’s Hurting for “them.”
You are Part of His “Pain” you can’t divert.
I am “us.” I can’t take me out of “Him.”
I am “us.” I can’t take me out of “hope.”
I am hoping ’cause He’s Hoping for “them.”
I am Part of His “Pray” I can’t “uncope.”
“Don’t take ‘us’ out of My Name. No! Please give!”
says Jes’us.’ “Give them ME! I give YOU, too.
You are ‘us.’ I AM ‘them.’ And, yes, FORgive.
If you take ‘us’ out of Jes’us,’ FORwho?”
Haven’t we all had enough of such fuss?
Have FAITH and don’t take “us” out of JES”us.”
