“Father God, thank You that we can Thrust Our Trust in Your Son and our Savior and Deliverer, Jesus Christ. If we thrust our trust in this world with all else robust, all else we have is a rhythm of rumble. We Belong when we Belong to Jesus wherein we are BOTH Reckoned AND Relief. When we are down here; here today, gone tomorrow. When we are down here; here now, gone in a second. All else will stumble when we are OF this world. All else will Be a Balance of our Belief when we are IN this world, when Jesus Christ is Who Will BOTH Endure AND Ensure that we Belong. And speaking of ‘rumble,’ WEST SIDE STORY is my favorite musical of all time, and that says a whole lot since I LOVE musicals. As you can see in the picture, the Sharks and the Jets (BOTH) were always ‘ready to rumble,’ to fight for what they thought was their territory, until tragedy struck and there was nothing more to thrust their trust. In the end, they realized that it was their division, their separatism, their faulty belief that they were different, that led to this tragedy. They were NOT different but for their gang names. They were BOTH exactly the same, i.e., peaceful and NOT rumbling children of God. If they had called BOTH their gang names, “The Peaceful Children of God,” they would not have felt the need to defend their territories that led to tragedy. They would have ONLY thrust their trust in You, Father God, and Jesus Christ. ‘Ready to rumble?’ NO! ‘If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone’ (Romans 12:18). Father God, please allow each of us to live at peace with everyone. Let it not only depend on us but also depend on YOU! And speaking of ‘NO!,’ I did not forget about you, God’s nonhuman animals, by not posting of a pic of you. I will always ‘rumble’ in helping you, for all of you are my NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, AND WEST SIDE STORY! 🐾 I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious and Balanced Name of Jesus Christ, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are lacking. Amen.”
(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in thrusting my trusting in the Balance of my Belief in Jesus Christ this daily leavened [Jesus BOTH Reckons AND Relieves!] bread.”)
You thrust your trust in what will not endure.
It’s down here; here today, gone tomorrow.
Thrust your Trust in Up There, Who Will Endure:
Jesus, BOTH Endure AND Ensure. Thrust, though?
I thrust my trust in what will not last long.
It’s down here; here now, gone in a second.
Thrust my Trust in Up There, Who Will Belong:
I Belong if it’s Jesus I’m Reckoned.
“Thrust your Trust in ME. All else will stumble,”
says Jesus. “Be Reckoned to My Relief.
All else will be world’s rhythm of rumble.
I Will Be a Balance of your Belief.”
Do we want this world with all else robust?
Or all else want Jesus? Let’s Thrust our Trust.
