“Father God, thank You that Your Son and our Savior and Deliverer, Jesus Christ, is our Ship and we are His anchors. We are dropped beneath the sea, hoisted up as anchors when the Time for the Trip is ‘I AM’ to set sail by His Sails. We hear His Ship Horn, and It Sounds Loud and Clear to those who hear: ‘Amour! I AM Love. I AM Hope. Endear your ear!’ Help us, Father God, to consistently and constantly endear our ear to His ‘Deep Calls to Deep Living Waters in the Roar of Your Waterfalls; All Your Waves and Breakers have Swept Over me.’ (Psalm 42:7). Let us ROAR as a lion, SWIM as a sheep! On a more personal and relatable note, I wasn’t sure if sheep could swim, but this picture shows all of us that sheep CAN swim. And they need someone like the man in the picture to guide them while they swim. I see myself in this picture: The Man is Jesus, the sheep is me. Jesus swims with me and if I go under, dropped as an anchor, Jesus will Save and Rescue me. This is what Jesus does best for those who feel they are going under or have gone under (BOTH). Jesus WILL Save AND Rescue (BOTH) His sheep! All aboard! Anchors aweigh! And, yes, PLEASE watch out whales and PLEASE watch out FOR whales (BOTH). The sea is THEIR home, NOT OURS! I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious and ‘Deep’ Name of Jesus Christ, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are lacking. Amen.”
(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in ‘we are’ His anchor, ‘I AM’ His Ship,
this daily leavened [Jesus ‘I AM!’] bread.”) ‘Deep Calls to Deep Living Waters,’
You are dropped as an anchor, Him your Ship.
You are beneath the sea, Jesus your Sails.
When it’s Time to set sail, “I AM” your Trip.
You aboard! Anchors aweigh! Watch out whales!
I am dropped as an anchor beneath the sea.
Suits me fine, as “I AM” one of the “Deep.”
“Deep Calls to Deep Waters.” Jesus Calls me
Deep to His Living Waters, Swim? Can sheep?
“I AM that you are. I AM, you anchor,”
says Jesus. “I Sound My Ship Horn, you hear.
Hear Me Calling you ‘Deep?’ My Sound? Amour!
I AM Love! I AM Hope! Endear your ear!”
Anchors: Who we are, why Jesus “I AM.”
Ship: Who Jesus is, why we are “I AM.”
