“Father God, thank You that the Greatest ‘Less’on is ‘More’ Your Son and our Savior and Deliverer, Jesus Christ. In our flesh, we can feel that ‘more is more’ to the point that we are in the throes of an ‘accumulate stampede!’ In our Spirit, however, we know ‘more is less,’ something all the Greats knew, and definitely the Greatest One, Jesus, knew! Whether we are talking about ‘less’on or ‘less’en (or BOTH), our talk (and walk) is ‘less’ us, ‘More’ Jesus. Jesus, our Shepherd, knew all about this with His Opening Line in one of the Greatest Psalms ever written: . ‘The Lord is my Shepherd. I shall not want OR I shall lack for nothing’ (Psalm 23:1). Ironically, it is in the ‘nothing’ that we shall want for nothing for we have EVERYTHING, and it is in The Shepherd Jesus that we shall NOT want in the first place. Jesus IS First Place when the Greatest ‘Less’on is ‘More’ Jesus! If I could rewrite the “I shall” line in this Bible Verse, I would write, “I shall want nothing superfluous,” as that sounds very apropos!😉 On a more personal note, Father God, you know how crazy rodeos make me! Speaking of ‘nothing,’ rodeos are nothing more than man’s domination over ‘the least of these.’ It is a display of domination and, more than anything, it is a display of captivity and cruelty Father God’s Word says, ‘The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free’ (Luke 4:18). PLEASE shut down or, at the very least, never attend rodeos in order to fulfill Father God’s Word to ‘proclaim freedom for the rodeo animal prisoners’ and ‘set the oppressed rodeo animals free.’ I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious and Roaring Name of Jesus Christ, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are lacking. Amen.”
(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in the Greatest ‘Less’on [or ‘Less’en] of ‘More’ Jesus this daily leavened [Jesus The Greatest!] bread.”)
“More” is a dangerous word you possess.
Wanting “more” is you wanting “less” of Him.
The Greatest “Less”on is to want “more” less
that is your want, to want His Want “more” whim.
“More” is when I’m “less” grateful for “I need.”
I have all I need. I need not want “more.”
My ego shouts, “Accumulate stampede!”
My God quiets, “More or less, I’m account for.”
“It’s that you have ‘less’ that you’ll want ME ‘More,'”
says Jesus. “All the Greats knew this ‘less’on.
Be one of the Greats by wanting ME ‘Roar.’
Roar like a lion and ‘more’ will ‘less’en.”
How apropos rhymes with “superfluous”
that the Greatest “Less”on is “More” Jesus.
