WELCOME US IN!

“Father God, thank You that You welcome us in! You welcome us in so we can Win You and Your Son and our Savior and Deliverer, Jesus Christ. It is when we are hating BOTH anyone AND ourselves that we are NOT welcomed in. It is only when we are loving BOTH anyone AND ourselves that we are welcomed in. Welcoming us in does come at a ‘cost’ and a must: We must decrease for Jesus to Increase in Range. We think we will lose something if we decrease, but it is only that we gain EVERYTHING when we are decrease and Jesus is our Increase in Range. Apostle John had it so right: ‘He must Increase, but I must decrease’ (John 3:30). On a more personal note, that I might not be tossed today feeling lost at sea. That I might find God ashore. That I might not ask, “Why this?” That I might care that God cares about me. That I might find God in the midst of most I miss. That I might trust in the ONLY ‘might,’ Almighty God, in the midst of my most little and most decreased life. Help me also, Father God, to decrease so Your nonhuman animals (HOME ON THE RANGE) might increase. I never saw that Disney movie, but I can see that Your nonhuman animals having ‘Good Fun For The Whole Family’ is paramount to my ‘whole’ little and decreased life. It IS ‘Why this?’ It’s why You, Father God, have called me down here. I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious and Increased Name of Jesus Christ, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are lacking. Amen.”

(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in me at decrease so Jesus at Increase in Range this daily leavened [Jesus Wins!] bread.”)

Welcome us in, you who are of unsure.

Welcome us in, you who are of the lost.

You can be sure it’s God who is ashore.

Offshore, lost at sea, Jesus calming tossed.

Welcome us in, me who is of despair.

Welcome us in, me who is of, “Why this?”

I can be of care that God everywhere,

even there in the midst of most I miss.

“Yes, We welcome all in who love again,”

says Jesus. “All who welcome what must change:

All must go from hating to loving when

all must decrease for My Increase in Range.”

It’s not that we’re losing anything. Win!

It’s that we’re Winning God. Welcome us in!
