“Father God, thank You that in the small things, Your Love is Large, Big, Great! We can often feel so small in such a big world, but we need always remember exactly so small (meekness) is when Your Large, Big, Great Love shows up! It takes ‘right-sizing’ us so all that is ‘left’ is Your Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ, in charge! Jesus IS our ‘BigWig’ (‘an important person, especially in a particular sphere’). In this ‘particular sphere’ that is us in this big world, the most important person IS Jesus! Help us hate no one, forgive everyone, so Your Love, Father God, will dwell. On a more personal note, when it came time to rhyme a word with ‘great,’ how ‘great’ were the choices! The picture I posted with this God Sonnet contains ONLY the 4-syllable (Enneagram 4) words I could have used to rhyme with ‘great.’ There were many more syllable words I could have used to rhyme with ‘great.’ I think I ‘right-sized’ me enough by asking anyone reading this God Sonnet to rhyme ‘great’ with their choice of word! That’s meekness! And that’s Your Large, Big, Great Love in charge in the small things in my life, Father God. And just because I didn’t post a picture of an animal with this God Sonnet as I usually do, how ‘great’ is my love for Your nonhuman animals, Father God! How they suffer in silence is ALWAYS on my heart and my mind but NEVER on my lunch or dinner plate! Did you catch that? ‘Plate’ also rhymes with ‘great.’ LOL! I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious and ‘BigWig’ Name of Jesus Christ, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are lacking. Amen.”
(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope that in every small thing, Love of God Great!, this daily leavened [Jesus Carries!] bread.”)
It’s in the small things your love must be great.
In the big things, yes, pays well to love well.
It’s not great love if you’re large in your hate.
Hate no one, forgive everyone. “Love, dwell.”
It’s when I’m small that great love is so large.
In my meekness, how large is One I serve!
It’s “right-sizing” me so He’s “left” in charge.
To all I love not great, great you deserve!
“It IS in the small things, God’s Love is Great!”
says Jesus. “You won’t find Love in the ‘big.’
The ‘big’ world only means big is your weight
to carry. Let Me carry as ‘BigWig.'”
To rhyme with “great,” so many words to state.
Our choice! In the small things, Love of God Great!
