“WHAT WORLD IS THIS?”

“Father God, thank You that we are NOT ‘what world is this?’ We are ONLY of You and of Your Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ. In this, we have bliss! While we are here, Father God, let it always and only be for Your Plan and Your Way. Help us live a storyline that is all about Your Love for us. We are going to be asked to ‘should please back away’ of ‘what world is this?’ But let us always ‘refuse please should be,’ for we are NOT ‘what world is this?’ We are only IN ‘what world is this?’ Jesus has overcome what world through His Leaven which is Your Heaven, Father God. We, too, can overcome what world, for we, too, are from Your Heaven. Help us to rest in Your Heaven while ‘what world is this?’ On a more personal note, Father God, BOTH Your humans AND Your nonhuman animals are from Your Heaven, as the picture informs us. To deny BOTH Your Heaven is to deny Your Leaven. While we BOTH are what world, let us extend love, compassion and mercy to BOTH. There need be no other way than this in ‘what world is this?’ And BOTH serve and love You, Father God, as You are a Loving God and a God for ALL Your creatures. BOTH belong what world AND belong Your Heaven. I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious and No-Death Name of Jesus Christ, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are lacking. Amen.”

(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in all bliss and NO ‘what world is this?’ for Jesus has overcome ‘what world is this?’ this daily leavened [Yes, Jesus, my Leaven!] bread.”)

You’re here in this world doing all you can,

but what world is this? Is it your design?

You gotta believe what world is His Plan.

What world is that chance for your storyline.

I’m here in this world making it His Way,

but what world is this for fragile like me?

What world tells me I should please back away.

I tell what world, “I refuse please should be.”

“What world is this is what I’ve overcome,”

says Jesus. “Rest in what is My Leaven.

Death could not hold me down in ‘what world from?’

I am NOT from what world but from Heaven.”

Of what world is this, there can be no bliss.

Of this God, that Christ, NO “what world is this?”

  1. I often question what world I’m in. I question whether I was put here for a particular reason. I need a place to rest, recuperate and make my own impact. What world am I from?

  2. I stole the title of this sonnet from the film, GIRL, INTERRUPTED. Indeed, “what world is this?” I think the answer, as always, is to be IN the world but not OF the world, to be IN Spirit and not OF flesh. It’s as simple as that and it’s as complex as that. BOTH! 😉
