HOW WE GONNA ANSWER BACK THE CRITIC?

“Father God, thank You that we can heal when we answer back the critic in Your Name and Your Son’s Name, Jesus Christ. We all have the critic who is a parasite to our souls. That parasite is BOTH external AND internal for each of us. We can spend hour upon hour (BOTH) blaming and shaming (BOTH) another and ourselves (BOTH) for their and our (BOTH) faults and shortcomings (BOTH), but we are wasting hour upon hour doing all this BOTH. No matter the names and no matter the souls (BOTH), Jesus is ALL Control and You, Father God, are ALL Might (BOTH). Our ego torments us into thinking we have ALL Control and ALL Might (BOTH), but none of us is God and none of us need play God (okay, no more BOTH 😉). We only are and need play forgiveness for another and ourselves. We ALL “have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God” (Romans 3:23). “Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they are doing” (Luke 23:34), and forgive us, Father, for we often know not what we are doing. You are Ascent, Father God, when we are in our dissent and our mayhem (BOTH….sorry, couldn’t resist that one 😁). I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious and Total Control Name of Jesus Christ, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are lacking. Amen.”

(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in answering back the critic with, ‘God’s Know, NOT your know,’ this daily leavened [Jesus Fuels Love!] bread.”)

You have the critic who loves to torment,

to tell you it’s you against all of them.

It’s not true that you’re alone in dissent,

for your God is Ascent in your mayhem.

I have the critic who loves to put them

in the fire when they’ve inflamed my ego.

When they blame and shame me, I know that whim.

I answer back with, “God’s Know, NOT your know.”

“They have the critic, too, who fuels their flames,”

says Jesus. “They, too, want total control.

I am ALL Control no matter the names.

Our God is ALL Might no matter the soul.”

God is Heal; they can be parasitic.

How we gonna answer back the critic?

  1. Put that critic in his place, Dag. Give that critic a firm and convicted kick in the rear! 🙂
