“Father God, thank You for inspiring today’s God Sonnet with Your Word, “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing” (1 Thessalonians 5:11). While this sonnet might have only taken me 5 minutes to write and is not perfect rhyming, the sentiment is perfectly clear: We keep….’ing’ as human BEings and NOT human DOings. Unfortunately, most of us are uncomfortable with just BEing, because we think we have to keep DOing to earn the approval of the world and others. I can speak this with all truth because I am that most uncomfortable with just this. I am learning (thank You, Father God, for Your God Timing) that it is not what I DO that guarantees me my seat in Heaven but rather that I BE by keeping Your Son and my Savior, Jesus Christ, in me. Keep….’ing’ is keeping Jesus always in the midst of us. Without Jesus, we are ALL NOTHING!!!! And without Your Love, Father God, we have ‘become a sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal'(1 Corinthians 13:1). On a more personal note, please help me encourage one another and build each other up. I can go ‘radio silent’ with another and others, but I hope another and others know that it’s just me afraid of BEing hurt yet again. Unfortunately, this is a setup as I am only hurting myself by BEing afraid of BEing hurt yet again. Let every another and others know that I am more than willing to encourage them and build them up if they so desire with God’s Help through the Holy Spirit. I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious (BOTH….you did know I was not going to leave this prayer without saying that word, right?) Name of Jesus Christ, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are lacking. Amen.”
(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in keep….’ing’ Jesus in me to BE and not DO this daily leavened [Jesus Interviewing!] bread.”)
Keep on hoping, just as you are doing.
Keep on loving, just as you are loving.
Keep on being, just as you are being.
Keep on feeling, just as you are feeling.
Keep on dreaming, just as I am doing.
Keep on seeing, just as I am seeing.
Keep on trusting, just as I am trusting.
Keep on knowing, just as I am knowing.
“Keep on BElieving in Me; I’m DOing,”
says Jesus. “Keep the word, ‘BE,’ in ‘BEing.’
Keep human BEing for My God Timing.
Keep the faith while you keep interviewing.”
Keep in Him, even when we are sleeping.
Keep renewing, just as we are keep….”ing.”
