THE QUIET OF THE BEING

“Father God, thank You that we are The Quiet of The Being that is Your Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ. The world and its noise is looking to swallow us all down. Let us be Up for just being, not doing, never doing, ‘only quiet as Me.’ We can be quiet for quiet is when we are free from riot and only ‘right.’ The ‘wrong’ way of the world is noise, noise, NOISE! Allow us to poise ourselves to “faith, hope and love….and the greatest of these is LOVE!’ (1 Corinthians 13:13). With these 3, we are all 4 You and 4 Him and 4 Love, 3 of these, ‘and the greatest of these is LOVE!’ On a more personal note, please don’t wake up my sleeping nonhuman animal friend in the picture. He or she is resting and in The Quiet of The Being. All humans, please stay away from him or her and please mind your own business. When you are resting in The Quiet of The Being, you wouldn’t want anyone to disturb you, right? Then please don’t disturb my nonhuman animal friend who is resting and in The Quiet of The Being, for this Gift of Grace from God is for BOTH humans AND nonhuman animals. I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious and Quiet Name of Jesus Christ, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are lacking. Amen.”

(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in the Quiet of The Being that is Jesus and NOT the noise of this world this daily leavened [Jesus IS Being!] bread.”)

It’s the noise that is deafening your peace.

The noise of a world that says, “Be that noise!”

It’s the quiet of the being you mouthpiece.

It’s the faith, hope, and love that is your poise.

It’s the noise that is my mind that is fear.

It’s the, “Will the world swallow me all down?”

It’s when I’m Up for being quiet from sneer

that I have God so dear for when I’m “drown!”

“You’re right, Timothy! Be quiet when in Me,”

whispers Jesus. “Quiet, now, quiet. And see.

See what happens? You are loved for just ‘be.’

Not ‘do,’ never ‘do,’ only quiet as Me.”

Seeing is believing? Depends “seeing.”

“See” Jesus? YES! The Quiet of The Being.
