IT’S WHERE CARE IS CONCERNED

“Father God, thank You that You are where our care is concerned. Thank You that we can come into the Arms of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior, to find the best rest we all need right about now. What a Jesus that He would whisper to us that there’s no protest and no detest where His Care for us is concerned. Thank You, too, that this care is afforded BOTH humans AND nonhuman animals. To deny EITHER/OR this care is to deny BOTH Your All-Encompassing, All-Knowing, and All-Caring Love for Your children of skin, fur, wings, or fins (if I left any nonhuman animal out in this plea, please forgive me). On a more personal note, I can attest and never protest or detest to this picture and it’s words. Being currently here at GOOD ACRES SANCTUARIES (https://goodacres.us), I am looking into the eyes of the farm animals here, “the least of these,” and I am not seeing an animal but seeing a living being and a friend and feeling a soul. Anyone who might think differently while here clearly has not looked into an animals’ eyes and seen and felt what I am seeing and feeling. Because I see and feel this, why would I ever want to harm them and not give them Your Free Love, Father God, where care is concerned? I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious and Caring Name of Jesus Christ, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are lacking. Amen.”

(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in resting in the Arms of Jesus and receiving God’s Free Love where care is concerned this daily leavened [Jesus Cares!] bread.”)

Where care is concerned, you cannot be found.

What is found is your resistance to change,

to change what no longer works as your “bound.”

Where your freedom is concerned, there’s “estrange.”

Where care is concerned, I fall short of it.

Self-care? I’m ‘oft to deny me this care.

Why? Where I’m concerned, I just can’t permit

me too much the “vanity of fanfare.”

“Where care is concerned, I do this the best,”

whispers Jesus. “Come into My Arms to rest.

You feel that? That comfort? There’s no protest.

You are never one who I would detest.”

It all comes down to nothing we have earned.

God’s Love is Free! It’s where care is concerned.
