(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in not carrying my hurts ‘feel’ that I was never meant to carry but rather allowing Jesus to heal my hurts this daily leavened [Jesus Heals!] bread.”)
Unless you heal from it, it will come back.
It will show up time, time, and time again.
It is the hurt. No! It is the hurts that hack
and whack and smack and thwack you “looney bin.”
I hold onto it, for I think it’s mine.
I was never meant to carry it “feel.”
If I release it to God, so the shine
of the Son who takes it for how I heal.
“Give me your hurts so you don’t act from it,”
says Jesus. “If you don’t, it will come back.
I didn’t hurt for nothing. That they spit
on Me, so it’s your heal from hurts you stack.”
I know no one asked me for my feedback.
God did! Jesus heals! Or….it will come back.
