“Father God, let us stop denying that we are not broken. If we don’t admit we are broken, we won’t receive the ‘Break’ for our ‘carefree’ that can only come from Your Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ. ‘Of the world’ is what ‘broke’ Jesus, and it’s only by being ‘in the world’ that Jesus can ‘Break’ us free from worries, fear, shame and blame. Please console us, Father God. The Toll of Jesus is letting only Him be the One who sets us ‘carefree.’ Thank you, Father God, that the ‘Break’ for the broken is for BOTH Your humans AND nonhuman animals. To exclude BOTH from the ‘Break’ is to break apart BOTH and exclude BOTH from Your Love, Compassion, and Mercy. I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious and ‘Carefree’ Name of Jesus Christ, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are lacking. Amen.”

(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; ‘it’s how I cope to hope in the ‘Break’ that comes from being ‘in the world’ and NOT ‘of the world’ this daily leavened [Jesus ‘Breaks’ for the broken like me!] bread.”)

You are broken, though you think you are whole.

You are “of the world” that gives you no “break”

from worries, fears, shame and blame. God’s Console

is the “Break” that will “unbreak” your heartbreak.

The break is that I don’t trust God’s “got this.”

The “Break” for this comes when I get out of my way

and let God’s Way “Break” me into His Bliss.

I’m broken, so I let God “Break” my day.

“I came for the broken, not for the whole,”

says Jesus. “I ‘Break’ you ’cause they ‘broke’ me.

Stop denying that you don’t need My Toll:

I let them ‘broken’ me for your ‘carefree.'”

There is God’s Word that must be our “spoken.”

Speak It, as It’s the “Break” for the broken.

  1. God can’t fix us if we don’t admit we’re broken. If we don’t admit we’re broken, that’s pride and pride goes before AND after The Fall.
