World Animal Day: Know Significance and History behind the idea
“Father God, the significance of us is that we are significant to You. We, BOTH humans AND nonhuman animals, are Your precious and beloved children. We can’t help but be significant to You. Lost on us? Never lost on You! Help us to seek and surrender everything to You, Father God, through Your Son and our Savior Jesus Christ. Help us to love ourselves as You Love us. I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious Name of Jesus Christ, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are lacking Amen.”

(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in seeing my own significance as I seek and surrender everything to Father God this daily leavened bread.”)

You can’t see your significance, too close

to you to spot it; others will confirm.

You can’t help but be vital to engross

God who signifies you with great affirm.

I’m too “here” to see “there” where I’m needed.

The significance of me? Lost on me.

God says, “Oh My God, needed, conceded,

surrender you to Me to see you’re free!”

“The significance of you found in Me,”

says Jesus. “Love and watch you become hope.

My Father God is waiting for your plea

to love who you are in Me. Hate you? Nope!”

Seek God and surrender with diligence.

We will come to know our own significance.
