(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in listening to God’s Voice of Love for ALL this daily leavened bread.”)
You can’t hear God’s Voice if you’re hearing theirs.
Theirs tells you, “Follow us to worldly ways.”
God’s Voice tells you, “Follow Me, Me who cares.”
Listen to God who is “Spirit Sundays.”
All days, I listen to God’s Voice on High.
When low, I’m listening to world’s despair.
“Raise Your Voice, God, so I might amplify
Your Voice in this world, loud and everywhere.”
“Listen to My Father’s Voice for My Way,”
says Jesus. “My Truth, My Life, My Patience,
My Joy, My Peace, My Good, My Father’s Day.
You just hear me all days of impatience.”
If a voice tells us to hate them and you,
NOT God’s Voice. Love, a Voice we listen to.
