“Father God, as this comic strip above so accurately informs us, Your nonhuman animals have feelings, too. You accept them ‘just who you are’ just as You accept us humans ‘just who you are.’ Your Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ, is Prince of Peace and while Your humans might plot against peace, Your nonhuman animals desire ONLY peace by having NO hidden agendas, NO need to plot revenge, and NO need to harm out of malice. You remind us that “the righteous ones care for their animals, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel” (Proverbs 12:10). Through the dominion you gave us over Your nonhumans animals, Father God, we know that ‘their’ are OURS, thus we care for them and NEVER dominate them. I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious Name of Jesus Christ, Prince of Peace, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are lacking. Amen.”
(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in feeling what I feel and being ‘just who you are,’ a precious and free child of God Most High, this daily leavened [Jesus Rises!] bread.”)

It’s great to be loved for just who you are….Although it doesn’t always feel that it’s the case

It’s not always the case for me either, Dag, which is probably why God keeps me writing about this very thing! I’m stubborn, I suppose 😉
