“Father God, help us to set our eyes not right, left, front, or behind, but upon Your Glory. We know that Your Glory is Your Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ. We also know that we are Your Glory. We know that because of Your Son, we have mankind. And we not only have mankind but also “animalkind.” Your Glory through Your Son is that we glorify Your Love for ALL Your humans and nonhuman animals. Let us come to rest in kindness to ALL as we set our eyes upon Your Glory. There is no category when it comes to Your Creation, Father God, for ALL are equal in Your Eyes and worthy of love, compassion and mercy. I pray ALL of this in the Wonderful and Precious Name of Jesus Christ, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are lacking. Amen.”
(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in setting my kind eyes upon God’s Glory through His Son, Jesus Christ, this daily leavened [Jesus Rises!] bread.”)
You need not look right, left, front, or behind.
Only have your eyes upon the Prized One
who paid The Price for you to have mankind.
Speaking of “kind,” your kind eyes when looked “done.”
I set my eyes upon One who will mend
that I am faulty and I am frightened
and I am flawed. I am also a friend
to friendless, a light for eyes enlightened.
“Set your eyes upon Me and My Glory,”
says Jesus. “My Glory is that I’m rest.
What My Eyes see in you is a Story
of how I came to rest in you. You? Blessed!”
Each of us, no one can category.
Rest in kindness while eyes upon Glory.
