“Father God, we know the plans you have for us: to prosper us and not to harm us, to give us a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Please send us all over the rainbow ’til we soar. All Your hopeful plans are applicable to all of us, BOTH humans AND nonhuman animals. You ARE our hope, Father God, and our hope is found in Your Son and our Savior, Jesus the Christ. Without Him, we have no over the rainbow ’til we soar, no future plans, and no hope. We know ‘never you harm’ is for BOTH humans AND nonhuman animals, and all protection when we’re unarmed from Jesus Christ is for BOTH, as well. I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious Name of Jesus Christ, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please, Father God, help me where my faith and my belief are lacking. Amen.”

(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in God’s future plans of hope, over the rainbow ’til I soar, this daily leavened [Jesus Rises Over the Rainbow!] bread.”)

What are your plans for the future attuned?

Do you even believe there’s a future?

You’ve lost hope in “then” ’cause now is your wound.

Future heal with God, each wound to suture.

For me to prosper, my future is His.

Who am I to know what God has in store?

All I know is future of Oz and Wiz;

over the rainbow I go ’til I soar.

“I know the plans I have for you,” declares

the Lord. “Plans that involve never you harm.

My Son, Jesus the Christ, is One who cares,

One who hopes, One who protects when unarm.”

We won’t know our future plans telescope.

Just know God’s plans for our future are hope.

  1. This made me think a lot about future in general. It’s about having faith in God and letting him steer you. Yeah, that works πŸ™‚

  2. It does work, Dag, for us to allow God by faith to steer our futures. If we could only get out of the way and let God steer!!!! πŸ™‚
