“Father God, bowed down to You is how we are all Lifted Up to Heaven. Help us to always remember that the first shall be last and the last shall be first as Your Word tells us. It is only when we are last that we can ‘stand-up,’ deny ourselves, pick up our cross, and follow Jesus. We are truly free and truly able to live humbly through Your Free Gift of Grace, Father God. This bowing down to be Lifted Up is something BOTH humans AND nonhuman animals have the privilege to comprehend and thus comply. We all raise up The Cup of Jesus Christ to drink Him and Love You, ourselves, and our neighbors, BOTH humans AND nonhuman animals. I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious Name of Jesus Christ, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are lacking. Amen.”

(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in bowing down to Father God to be Lifted Up to Heaven while I remain down here living last and living humbly this daily leavened [Jesus Rises!] bread.”)

When you drop to your knees, you’re Lifted Up.

Who knew bowed down could raise you to Heaven?

God knew “first last, last first,” was your “stand-up.”

You only “stand” if Jesus is Leaven.

When I bow down to The Father, I’m Grace.

I’m raised Grace when I’ve surrendered “low life.”

Love is how I “Valentine’s Day” deep space:

Love down and up, in and out, peace and strife.

“Bow down to Me, and I will Lift you High,”

says Jesus. “My Father God is reached ‘Lift’

when you’re humble, when you’re last and deny

yourself, pick up your cross and Love swift.”

We love like Jesus when we raise His Cup

to drink Him, ’cause bowed down is Lifted Up.

  1. Our “flesh” (ego) tells us to be puffed up, to be first and not last, to want instead of counting our blessings of having what we need. Our “spirit” (egoless) tells us to be humble, to be last and not first, to need as an already counting of blessings and not wanting what we don’t have. “Flesh” or “spirit?” The one time, and maybe the only time, we can’t have BOTH! What a conundrum! ๐Ÿ˜‰
