A BLINKED EYE

“Father God, we know that in a blinked eye, we could lose everything that matters to us most. You, Father God, matter to us most, as does Your Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ. Help us to be set free today in a blinked eye by Your Truth that You Love us, and help us set others free today in a blinked eye by Your Truth that You Love them. Your Love for us and them, we know, Father God, is for BOTH Your humans and nonhuman animals. Being set free is for BOTH Your humans and nonhuman animals. Help us to know there is nothing uncouth about The Truth of Jesus Christ. I pray all of this in the Name of The Truth of Jesus Christ that sets me free, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and my belief are lacking. Amen.”

(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in a blinked eye that I will be set free by The Truth of Jesus Christ and The Love of Father God this daily leavened [Jesus Rises!] bread.”)

You can’t be at peace if you’re at untruth.

Your secrets and lies leave no room for breath.

Breathing these in is breathing out uncouth

spirit; your flesh is foe unto your death.

I can’t construct a life of tiny lies.

Tiny gets gigantic in a blinked eye.

“Love me or leave me” in my truth is wise,

for God is constant truth I glorify.

“You will know The Truth that will set you free,”

says Jesus. “The Truth is that God Loves you.

They will know you’re Mine by The Love you see

in them. ‘Cause God frees you, you free them, too.

A blinked eye, we were fed lies of our youth.

See there’s nothing uncouth about The Truth.
