“Yes, Father God, I make no mistake that Your cat, Conrad, who lives with me, does own me, but I’m okay with that. Speaking of mistakes, thank you, Father God, that BOTH Your humans and nonhuman animals are NOT mistakes. The only mistake we humans make is that we don’t always treat them BOTH with the love, compassion and mercy they deserve. When You created them BOTH, You ‘saw that it was good.’ Please help us make no mistake, Father God, that we are to do ‘good’ to BOTH Your humans and nonhuman animals. Calm us, Calmer Father God, to succeed in this by allowing Your Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ, to Fill us up with love, compassion and mercy when we encounter breaks (hearts) and shakes and when we are drained. I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious Name of Jesus Christ, and this prayer is answered by my faith (awake) and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith (not always awake) and my belief are lacking. Amen.”

I have too often felt like a mistake, but that doesn’t fit with God’s intention.
