(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in Jesus Just’us’ this daily leavened [Jesus Rises!] bread.”)
You need justice for how much you have guilt.
You screw up, yes, but so do all of us.
God is always Perfect Cloth. You? Ripped quilt.
Cover with His Cloth for Jesus Just”us.”
I need justice for how much I hurt me.
I’ve always felt I was “the least of these.”
Least down here, Most Up There, equalled entry.
The just”us” I need is Jesus. Yes! Please?
“I give you justice because I’m Just’us,'”
says Jesus. “I’m just like us. I’m hurting.”
God’s got this Cloth He wraps us in snugness.
God’s got this Son who stitches “hurt shirting.”
Thinking we’re alone hurting? No! What fuss.
Knowing God loves us? Yes! Jesus Just”us.”
