(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in courage en(courage)d through Jesus Christ this daily leavened [Jesus Rises!] bread.”)
You’re discouraged for the way it’s going.
Nobody’s acting right, including you.
Gonna take a huge act of faith flowing
to float you courage upstream to act true.
I’m discouraged that you don’t know my fear.
A good friend would “courage me” at tremble.
Maybe it’s because you’re fearful and drear?
Can’t we “courage us” BOTH from resemble?
“When you are discouraged, be en(courage)d,”
says Jesus. “I’m ALL the (courage) you need.”
It’s pride before The Fall that’s discouraged,
Love and Forgiveness after that we’re freed.
I know it’s simple but Love never fails,
courage en(courage)d through Him that prevails.
