“Father God, please let no one surrender your pet today. I know I’m not in control of this, Father God, but please let no one surrender your pet today for the reason that they just don’t care about your pet anymore. Please mend these humans’ hearts and turn them from surrendering your pet to keeping and loving your pet. I pray all of this in the Wonderful and Precious Name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and my Savior, and this prayer is answered by my faith and my belief. Please help me, Father God, where my faith and belief are lacking, and please help me to know it’s okay to surrender EVERYTHING to You! Amen.”

I completely relate. I’m sitting here trying to surrender to an ongoing issue. It’s all about surrender. It’s important to put effort into it but not try to control it
My heart is surely with my own kitten and birds and I completely agree with your views on preserving the true guardians of the Lord through His /Her true creatures of faith.
Thank you so much for your humbling words and your advocacy of animals.
