Until there are no more “missing in action” flyers about animals who have lost their way, these animals will always be my “found cause.”

(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in knowing I am God’s ‘Found Cause.'”)

They say you’re a lost cause. They say you’re too

far gone to come back, that your life is “pause.”

What they don’t know is God loves you who grew

to be found by Him, spelled out in God’s Clause.

When I go missing in action, I’m far

from the ones who have given up on me.

God doesn’t give up on me; He’s North Star

to my southern charm. He finds me “kindly.”

“He leaves 99 to find the lost cause,”

says Jesus. “My Father excels in ‘found.'”

We shout for God and then hear His Applause.

“Be right back,” God tells them. “That’s my child’s sound.”

They can say we’ve lost our way, blame be”cause.”

We are not a “lost cause” but God’s “Found Cause.”

  1. “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” – James 4:8. Listen to His Voice as He calls out your name. Ask Him to find you and He will find you. 😉
