(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in listening only to Jesus Christ, Silent One in The Middle.”)
You are a silent one, prone to vanish,
easy to disappear, quick to hide out.
It’s because you’re silent that you’re banish
from this world that is loud and hate to shout.
I’m a silent one. When I speak, it’s search
for deeper truths. I’m deep sea diver bound.
I’ll only come up from oceans when smirch,
when I’ve swam my wrongs and swim common ground.
Jesus Christ, Silent One in The Middle
on The Cross with criminals on His Side.
They spoke from their wrongs, Jesus no diddle,
no stain on Him, only Love Magnified.
Ask of Jesus, “Can I go where you go?”
Silent One in The Middle says, “Let’s Go!”
