(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in shared tears of fears as necessary to share with you in The Body of Christ.”)
Your tears are your fears of going without,
not getting what you want. Who said you would?
Your tears are your fears of being left out,
being disregarded. Who said you could?
My tears are my fears and the same as yours.
I am connected to you by one thread:
I am you, you are me, each others’ sores.
I bleed, you bleed. I live, you are not dead.
“You are all My Body,” says Jesus. “ALL!
What’s done to the least of them, done to Me.
When you cry, I weep. When you’re small. I’m Tall.”
When tears of fears, we share in His Body.
God is now calling forth Christ volunteers
nonprofit. Gain is no more tears of fears.
