“LET ME LET GO AND LET GOD”

(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in holding onto ‘ingenting’ [Swedish word for ‘nothing’] but GOD!”)

You’re holding onto a vanishing act.

What you concern yourself with is fleeting.

You’re facing what is known to be a fact:

Your Spirit will never be depleting.

I think if I hold on tight, he won’t go.

It’s the hold that lets him know, “I can’t breathe!”

He pulls away and I’m left with “below.”

Will I learn it’s the hold that is my seethe?

“You can let go now. God is One in Charge.”

Hold onto nothing but this. Breathe this in.

We let God be God. We let us be large.

God is Enlarge, Jesus Big: Spirit Twin.

There’s something to be said for living “odd.”

It’s living “let me let go and let God.”
