“God had me come not for the healthy animals but for the sick ones at the hands of sick and cruel men.” – Timothy J. Verret

“The righteous care for the needs of their animals, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel.” (Proverbs 12:10)

(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in knowing I’m one of the sick ones [maybe the sickest] who desperately needs Jesus Christ.”)

Don’t fret about being one of the sick.

You are exactly who Jesus came for.

If you are healthy, what help for a brick?

A stone heart won’t have liquid love to pour.

I’m one of the sick, why I need Jesus.

I might be the sickest one. “Great!” Christ claims.

“Sickest one well again. You will adjust

to how much My Scorched Love will fan your flames.”

“I came not for the well but for the sick,”

says Jesus. If we’re well, what’s “sacrificed?”

Doctors try to make us well by a trick.

We say, “Thanks, but no thanks! Our ‘Trick’ is Christ!”

Not all fathers will sacrifice their sons.

God did with Jesus Christ for the sick ones.
