(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in ‘messy weak living’ today so I can rely on God’s Perfect Power through Jesus Christ”)
You do all things messy; that is okay.
Can’t fault you for giving it all you got.
You’re not perfect nor were you made that way.
You’re not perfect power. Messy, your lot.
I do all things messy. Is that okay?
It’s got to be ’cause God says, “I clean you.”
Some days, I’m as dirty as a Monday.
All the days of the week, God’s my shampoo.
“Perfect Power cleans Up our messiness.”
God is Perfect Power through Jesus Christ.
When we claim “messy weakness,” dressiness.
God dresses us Up, all cleaned Up, sufficed.
We are all most assuredly “stressy.”
Be still. Be weak. God’s Up for the messy.
I feel that my life is difficult and messy and hard to clean up
