(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in the calm and not the drama when things flatline this daily bread”)
You don’t know what to do when things flatline,
when there is “blah,” “okay,” nothing distinct.
You need the drama. You express the whine.
Might have to settle for the calm succinct.
When things flatline in my life, I’m “intense!”
I bring the sun down, the moon up, the sky
to its knees. I’m needing to common sense
the uncommon, unique the plain. I’m left with “why?”
Nothing mundane about a Love Story.
The Bible: God Loves us and we Love Him.
Jesus: He Loves us, we Love Him. GLORY!
Holy Spirit: How Love excites our grim.
Let us rest in Jesus as a Peace Sign.
ALL is well, ALL is God, when things flatline.
