(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in how much more I can’t pretend God’s Enormous Love is for me”)
How much more will you make it on your own?
How much more will you say, “ME! I GOT THIS!”
When the hard wind blows, will you “overblown”
your ego to seek no help? No soul kiss?
How much more will I go it all as roam?
How much more will I say, “GOD! YOU GOT THIS!”
I will say that until the cows come home.
How much more cows would I never dismiss.
“How much more wide, long, deep, and high His Love
really is.” We could never measure it
by our measuring stick. To dispose of
that Enormous Love of Jesus is QUIT!
God is Love, a Love that does not keep score.
We pretend it’s not for us? How much more?
