(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in at’One’ment today for all the wrongs I’m sure to commit today”)
You need a reparation for your sins.
You need a reconciliation: “Clean.”
You’re the “one” who measures you by your “wins.”
“Lose” with God to win at”one”ment, lose preen.
I need a restitution for my ghost.
I need a rapprochement for all the blame
I gave and I received. What I need most
is Jesus Christ who is healing for shame.
“It is His Blood that maketh at’One’ment
for our souls.” “One” moment to say, “I’m healed!”
At “One” to “come clean” for the enthronement.
At “One” to forgive all the hurts we wield.
I’m sad to tell you: You at dethronement.
At “One” to tell you: LOVE is at”One”ment.
It never ends, we constantly need to atone for our sins. But it will happen, I’m confident of that.

It’s about “coming clean” of all that baggage that weighs us down. It’s about knowing we are forgiven and the slate is wiped clean. It’s about faith and about trust and about hope and about love (“but the greatest of these is LOVE” [1 Corinthians 13:13]). Blessings, Dag!
