(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in ALL-Crayons Jesus, Lion of Judah, opening soon the Red, White and Gold Scroll and its Seven Seals”)
You have a red skyline; you’re bleeding bad.
You have white clouds; you’re soft as you take shape.
You have a gold horizon. It’s your Dad
God who colors your spiritual landscape.
I have a red hemisphere; I’m half crash,
half soar. White billowy clouds of whole Grace.
I have a gold Heaven that green and silver cash
can’t buy. I’m colored to love Upper Case.
There will be Colors when Heaven comes down.
He’ll bring down with Him a Rainbow to say,
“I Love you this much. I paint you from frown
to crown.” We’ll color Him a milky way.
United States 3: red, white and blue Bold.
