(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in the Richness of Heaven while earthly bankrupt”)
You’re bankrupt on earth, no dime to your name.
You’re Rich in Heaven, filled up piggy banks.
earth tells you, “want more!” You don’t receive. Shame.
Heaven tells you, “want less!” You rest from “thanks.”
I’m bankrupt on earth, nameless but for breath.
I’m Rich in Heaven, worthy ’cause I’m kind.
earth tells me, “hate more!” If I do that, death!
Heaven tells me, “Love more!” I do this blind.
“Rejoice in ‘earth poor’ for you’re ‘Heaven Rich.'”
High-5 to Matthew 12, low-below fear.
Greed is from earth, contentment is from “switch.”
“Off” to earthly things. “On” to God “All Clear.”
Jesus Christ is Who we call, “Perfect Pitch.”
Sounds like “earthly bankrupt, Heavenly Rich.”
It sure seems that the riches we seek are in heaven And not here on earth
