TOO MUCH CHAOS “OR” MUCH TOO QUIET?

Maybe we all need to get tired like dogs so we can get quiet. Too much chaos tires us out, and much too quiet is when we get tired enough to turn to God.

(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in not ‘too much or much too’ but instead accept ‘in the middle’ Jesus, The Begin and The End”)

You’ve got too much chaos to breathe in peace.

You’ve got much too quiet to breathe out noise.

You got too little hope that God will cease

chaos and quiet. Too much, much too poise.

I’ve got too much chaos to breathe in “still.”

I’ve got much too quiet to breathe out, “Dead?”

I’ve got too little will to hike that hill

to God. Too much, much too, I’m Spirit led.

In the middle of panic and praying,

there is Jesus, The Begin and The End.

We are His “or” and “and.” We are saying

choose and select when too much, much too mend.

God’s Dad “and” Jesus, Son. Rely on it.

Us? Too much chaos “or” much too quiet?
