(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in surviving this storm coming soon, and me and Blue and Conrad being led to be safe in God’s Hands”)
You have the fear. You have the “what ’bout me?”
God can’t draw Near to you if you have doubts.
By all means, BREATHE! It means you’re safely free
from death. rain you fear is how God brings Droughts.
I don’t want to lose my home. Where to live?
God is my Refuge, my Fortress, my Rock.
These are all Lasting Dwellings God will give
when I am wasteland, when I am windsock.
“A thousand winds may come at you gale force,”
says God. “I will raise up My Temple in
just 3 days,” says Jesus. God is our source
of comfort in gales, Jesus rebuilds when
all hope has been destroyed, love in badlands.
have fear? God IS Near. We’re safe in God’s Hands.
