(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in all-day, ‘I don’t know,’ because God sure does!”)
Do you know, “I don’t know,” are perfect when
spoken together? They put God in charge.
When you’re clueless, God will time and again
“know you” what you know not. When small, God Large.
They ask me, “Don’t you know?” I, “I don’t know,
but I can find out.” God? The answer? “Love
me enough to know I respond when woe.”
I go to God with questions, doubt rid of.
“Come to me with, ‘I don’t know,’ for I do,”
answers God. Jesus knows when we are “what?”
“When?” is wait. “How?” is hope. “Where?” is pass through
the gate to “why?” God’s Gate is NEVER shut!
We will have to go against status quo
to know that God does know when “I don’t know.”
The last piece summarizes it well…. We will have to go against status quo
to know that God does know when “I don’t know.”
