(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in a White Wedding to Jesus this daily leavened bread”)
You’re “broken.” This had to happen to you.
Any other way, there’d be no beauty
from banality, love from hate shot-through.
Damaged goods are God’s “Goods” called for duty.
I won’t ever repeat again, “I’m broke.”
I’m fixed. I’m healed. I’m the one who fell down
4x a trillion. They said, “Yes, he’ll croak.”
Beast said, “Die!” God said, “Wear My Beauty Gown!”
He heals the “broken” and the one’s expelled.
New and Improved, Jesus is the Good News:
All can come to Him to be loved and held.
The fragile, the better for every bruise.
Our marriage to Jesus is bespoken.
White Wedding: The Beauty of the “Broken.”
